UNDA stands for ZERO WASTE:it all depends on the product design.
Plastic waste is becoming more rather than less. Now the EU wants to consistently solve the tiresome problem with a sustainable, waste-free zero waste policy.n.
This EU target poses a major challenge for manufacturers, because the existing product design and the material composition of many everyday and packaging products currently do not allow recycling at all: These often still consist of materials and layers that are difficult or impossible to separate be able. In addition, some plastics contain additives that greatly reduce the possible uses of the later recycling material (recyclate) in new products. UNDA product design meets eco-design guidelines for zero waste policy. The UNDA was developed from the start for a closed recycling cycle in compliance with the eco-design guidelines and consistently pursues the ideal of ZERO WASTE. On average, one UNDA replaces 210 disposable PET bottles and 130 disposable cups per person per year.
The following arguments support this:
• The UNDA multifunction bottle is energy-savingly manufactured in Switzerland with 100% hydropower.
• UNDA strictly pursues the goals of the ecological circular economy. It is a robust, durable, reusable, multifunctional bottle that is developed, manufactured and disposed of according to eco-design guidelines.
• The UNDA consists of pure polypropylene, not to be confused with the disposable plastic polyethylene terephthalate (PET). A thermoplastic material that is 100% recyclable. The recycled material is used to manufacture new high-quality products..
• The UNDA is also harmless from a health point of view. The polypropylene used is free from hormonally active substances and plasticizers such as BPA bisphenol A and free from phthalates.
• UNDA saves raw material resources. This is ensured by the intelligent 3-in-1 system: bottle + box + cup. Therefore, 2 packaging products are saved with a UNDA multifunctional bottle.
• The UNDA is particularly easy to clean thanks to the uniquely wide bottle opening. It is therefore used very frequently and saves even more disposable bottles and cups.
• The UNDA is assembled by a Swiss inclusion workshop near the production site.
• The UNDA is sent CO2-neutral throughout Europe and the transport packaging consists of 70% recycled cardboard and 30% grass. The UNDA is not individually packaged.
• At 175 grams, the UNDA is lightweight and consumes less CO2 when transported by truck. The low weight also means that the UNDA is used more often than, for example, a heavy glass bottle. The more frequent use and the lower weight lead to further CO2 savings in daily use.
